  • List projects that you joined as an intern, and describe how you approached problems and what you achieved.
  • Illustrate your ability to learn fast and solve problems by giving real examples:
    • if the problem needed time, you knew how to do time management.
    • if it needed a new approach, you were able to come up with one.
    • if it needed a human touch, you could do that as well.


What to do during internship

Perform
  • Take on responsibilities.
  • Deliver all assigned tasks on time.
  • Do the grunt work with enthusiasm.
  • Be proactive.
Learn
  • Read up on banking and ask intelligent questions.
  • Seek feedback.
  • Meet and talk to people in different business verticals. Explore as much of banking as possible so that you know where you fit.
  • Write down all the things that you have learned which are relevant and may come in handy during subsequent job interviews.
